Dorothy Jean Newcomb, 81, of Laurel, Mississippi, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Friday, April 28, 1939 in Wayne County Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi, the funeral services will take place at 2:00 PM. The burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery. Bro Bill Blair will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 477-3797

She was preceded in death by her parents William Grover and Ola Sims, her husband Charles Edward Newcomb Sr. and one daughter Barbara Louise Newcomb, granddaughter, Tonya Louise Newcomb,

Survivors include her sons Charles Edward Newcomb Jr. (Brenda) and Tommy Joe Newcomb (Sherri), her grandchildren, Sonya Kay Evans (Lucas), Carie Lynn Riley (Daniel), Tiffany Elise Cockrill (Prentice), Chase Edward Newcomb (Destiny), Dustin Joe Newcomb (Danielle), Jalyn Newcomb, Madison Paige Newcomb, Alexander "AJ" Pope III, a special niece, Debbie Varner (Jimmy) and a host of Great-Grandchildren.

Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
