Terri Hudson

Terri C. Hudson, 67 years old, a resident of Laurel, MS, passed away
Tuesday January 19, 2021 at South Central Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Sharon on
Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 3pm.

Everyone has always said that she was the kindest person and would help anyone even
when she would go without. Before marrying Gene she always said that she would never
get remarried unless she found someone that loved her daughters and grandson as much
as she did and she found that these last 24 years with him.
She loved her family dearly especially her grandkids and great granddaughter.
She always supported her family in anything they tried to do with their lives no matter
how much she would worry about them.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Ruth Carter of Laurel, MS, her son-in-
law Jerry Armbrust of Laurel, MS, brother-in-law Richard Hudson of Laurel, MS and
sister-in-law Cecelia McCormick of Bay Springs, MS, along with grandparents, multiple
aunts, uncles, and other family.

She is survived by her husband Gene Hudson of Laurel, MS. Daughters Mary Armbrust
and Martha-Kay (Brent) Holifield both of Laurel, MS. Honorary Daughter Amanda
Williams of Taylorsville, MS. Grandson’s Heath (Kiera) Blue of Ellisville, MS and Bret
Holifield Memphis, TN. Granddaughter’s Autumn Holifield, Macie Holifield and
Chynna Holifield all of Laurel, MS. Great Granddaughter and light of her life for the last
3 years Angelica Blue. Sisters Kay (Tom) Hilton of Laurel, MS and Tracy (Joey) Holley
of Eclectic, AL, honorary sister and best friend Jerrie (Gene) Newsom of Petal, MS.
Nephew Scott (Wendy) Hilton of Laurel, MS. Nieces Erin (William) Walker of Laurel,
MS and Patty Holley of Houston, TX. Honorary niece Kimberly (Eric) Kitchens of Papa
New Guinea. 13 honorary grandchildren, a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, family
and friends.
