Wilma Jean Adams, 70, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Born on July 25, 1955, in Jones County, Mississippi, Wilma was a beloved member of her community.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Melissa Adams and Stephanie Adams, both residing in Ellisville, MS. Wilma also leaves behind her brothers, Kenny Purvis and Don Purvis, and her sisters, Kimberly Van Orden and Sue Crager. Her legacy continues through her grandchild, Kristen Walters, and great-grandchild, Alyssa Shirley, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Wilma was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Button Hodge, her mother, Francis Collins Purvis, her brother, George Purvis, her grandchild, Joseph Devin Saul, and her great-grandchild, Devin Walters.

Family and friends will gather to honor Wilma's life. Funeral services will be Tuesday January 10, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Blackledge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The arrangements are under the care of Ellisville Funeral Home.

Wilma will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
