Virginia Wagnon Keyes, 80, of Collins, MS, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord at her home on October 4, 2021 following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Virginia was born December 26, 1940 to Martin and Velma Holston Hartfield in Poplarville, Mississippi. Visitation will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, MS. The funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. The burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Seminary, MS.  Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Tom Wagnon and John Keyes, sisters Dorothy Barbaro, Genevieve Dixon, and Jeannie Ward, brothers Martin Hartfield Jr., Freddie Hartfield, Harold Hartfield, and Oscar Hartfield.

She is survived by her son Bill (Phyllis) Wagnon, daughter Melinda Wagnon, beloved grandsons Thomas (Noel) Wagnon, Mark (Ashley) Wagnon, great grandson Tucker Wagnon, sisters Verna Haik of Bogalusa, La., Linda Ashe of Poplarville, MS, brother Haskel Hartfield, and sister-in-law Vera May Hartfield of Hattiesburg, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Virginia worked in retail for a number of years and was an avid shopper. She will be greatly missed but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
