Vernon T.  "Tommy" McLemore, 84 of Ellisville, MS passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Laurel, MS. He was born Friday, March 24, 1939, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Friendship Baptist Church in Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 1:00PM at Friendship Baptist Church in Ellisville, MS. Bro. Johnny Bryant will officiate. Tommy was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Williams McLemore; father, Burt McLemore; mother, Josie Busby Shoemake; brother, Cecil McLemore; sister, Bobbie Morgan.

Survivors include his sons, Vernon McLemore, Jr. and Wayne McLemore (Ginger); daughters, Tammie Daughtry (Tim), and Becky Smith (Ray); girlfriend, Frances Roney; grandchildren, Kimberly Brewer (Issac), Colt McLemore, Matthew McLemore (Bree), Hunter McLemore (Hanna), Patrick McLemore, Amber Smith, Tyler Smith, Jetta McLemore and Cayigon McLemore; great grandchildren, Abbie McLemore, Reese McLemore, Thomas Jarrel, Fisher McLemore, Boatie McLemore and Memphis Brewer.
