Thomas E. Pitts, 75, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Thursday October 29, 2020, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, January 25, 1945 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2020, at 3:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, Ms.

He was retired from Masonite after 33 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sharon where he served as a deacon.

Thomas's pride and joy was his 3 grandchildren. His passion was deer hunting and talking on his CB radio, where he was known as "Papa T". He also was passionate about serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lucretia Pitts; parents, Elbern and Emma Lorece Pitts; brother, Doug Pitts; sister, Barbara Gale Greer.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years Sandra F. Pitts; sons, Glenn Pitts (Shona) and Stephen Pitts (Christy); grandchildren, Cody Pitts, Rhiannon Pitts, and Corey Pitts; sister, Janice Baker (Buddy).

Pallbearers will be Michael Bradshaw, Joey Bradshaw, Grady Scarbrough, Arthur Scarbrough, Eric Beech, and Richard Baker.
