Thomas Carrol Pilgrim, 82, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at his residence. He was born Wednesday, January 10, 1940, in Jones County, Mississippi.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 1:30 pm at Old Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi, with burial to follow. Rev. Dennis Ray Smith will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

He was preceded in death by his father, James Melvin Pilgrim; mother, Cannon Louise Fant Pilgrim; brothers, James Melvin Pilgrim, Jr., Billy Joe Pilgrim, Jimmy Jerel Pilgrim, Willard Burl Pilgrim, Charles Ray Pilgrim and Johnny Pilgrim; sister, Willie Francis Pilgrim; and step-mother, Francis Pilgrim.

Survivors include his sisters, Mary Magdalene Smith, Edna Lou Powell, and Dorothy Joyce Brownlee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
