Obituary

Thomas Olon Beech JR. (Daddy)

Born September 5, 1949 – Passed June 8, 2026

Tom was born and raised in Ellisville, MS where he spent his whole life. He served 6 years in the Army National Guard early on and then drove trucks for the rest of his career, a job he loved and enjoyed. Tom married young and was married for 42 years to Debra Beech, the only love of his life besides God and us kids – Stacy Beech, Thomas (Teresa) Beech, and Josh (Ashley) Beech.

Our daddy was a great man and everyone who knew him loved him. He was giving, caring, and our hero. His passing will forever leave a hole in everyone’s heart that cannot be filled. He loved floating the creek with us catching catfish and watching trains – something he loved to do – or just driving around in his old Ford.

He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Olon Beech and Vermell Vivian Beech, two brothers Calvin Leon Beech and Douglas Riley Beech, and one sister Minnie Rhea Beech.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Flora Rosetta Hatcher and Vera Nell Potter; 1 brother, John Randall Beech; a host of grandkids and great-grandkids: Courtney Eiland (Jay), Danielle Seals (Austin), Lindsey Starks (West), Hazel, T. J. Kirby, Luke Beech, Caleb Beech, Ashlynn Beech, Hunter, Matthew Mann Beech, Colton Beech, and Kimberly Metten, Foxlee Beech; and Megan Cheeks (Kelly) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Thomas W. Beech, Mike Garris, Josh Beech, Matthew Mann, T. J. Kirby, and Luke Beech.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2026 at 10:00AM at Pilgrims Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Ellisville, MS with burial to follow. Elder Joe Evans will officiate. Arrangements are under the care of Ellisville Funeral Home.
