Thelma Myrick Jordan of Ellisville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Beehive Homes in Petal. Born on December 30, 1923, in Wayne County, Thelma lived a long and fulfilling life.
Thelma was employed as a supervisor at Movie Star Inc, and with the Bargain Box before she retired. She was a member of West Ellisville Baptist Church, serving on several committees and singing in the SR. Adult Choir.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Perry McMichael; mother, Abbie Gail McMichael; her first husband Homer S. Myrick and her second husband Hiram Jordan. She is also preceded in death by brothers, David McMichael, Johnny McMichael, Leland McMichael, Howard McMichael, Willie McMichael, Jeff McMichael, Jessie Paul McMichael; and sisters, Earcle Douglas, Mary DeStefano and Eunice Hearn.
Thelma is survived by her daughters Gail Miley (Russ) of Petal, Debbie Kelly (Stevie) of Ellisville, and her son Mike Myrick (Barbara) of Orange Beach, AL; 5 grandsons, Ryan Myrick (Ashley), Jared Myrick (Kali), Jay Myrick (Megan), Shane Kelly (Samantha) and Michael Kelly (Kelsie); and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister O'mera Dail of Waynesboro.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 10:00AM until 11:30AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11:30AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Interment will follow in Ellisville City Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. Bro. Jimmy Hood and Bro. Steve Kelly will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home oversees arrangements. 601-477-3797.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Myrick, Jared Myrick, Jay Myrick, Shane Kelly, Michael Kelly and B.L. Brooks.
