Sylvia Mason, 90, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Tuesday February 2, 2021, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, June 12, 1930 in Silsbee, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, C.B and Katie Gary; first husband, Lloyd T. Alexander, husband, Oscar Mason; brother, LaRay Gary.

Survivors include her sons, William T. Alexander, Joe Alexander (Jewel Dean), Ray Alexander (Natasha), and Glenn Alexander; brother, Roger Gary and wife; grand-son, Johnny Alexander; 9-grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren; special friend, Tanyanda Jones.
