Stella Faye Rowell, 68, of Laurel, MS passed away Friday, November 24, 2023 at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Saturday, June 18, 1955 in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 12:30PM until 2:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home. The burial will then take place in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Bro. Curtis Pitts will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Mack Rowell; father, Printiss Ward; mother, Audrey Poole Ward; brother, Harold Poole; sister, Brenda Rutland.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Rowell Sr.; daughter, Crystal Hurtt (Bobby Joe); sons, Willie Rowell (Ashley) and Anthony Rowell (Joyce); brother, Charles Ward; sisters, Linda Rice, Lisa Stewart (Joe) and Tommie Denton (Roy); 4 step-children; 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren as well as a host of bonus grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery Langley, Bobby Joe Hurtt, Benji Williams, Eric Jordan, Chris Hurt, and Joseph Langley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Conner Hurtt and Anthony Rowell Jr.
