Shannon Holifield's Obituary
Shannon Ray Holifield, 47, of Stringer, MS, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 while working in Morehead, Kentucky. He was born Saturday, April 24, 1971 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Ellisville City Cemetery. Bro. Robby Johnson will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 477-3797
He was preceded in death by his sister, Carrie Ann Holifield and his grandparents, Roy and Mary Payne and O. R. "Bill" and Barbara Holifield.
Survivors include his wife, Kristy Holifield, Stringer, MS; daughters, Madeline Holifield and Emily Holifield, Stringer, MS; parents, Michael Ray "Mickey" Holifield, Ellisville, MS and Chassie Ann Jefcoat (John), Laurel, MS; step-brother, Brad Jefcoat, Petal, MS and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brad Jefcoat, Jeff Fagan Jr., Russ Mathis, Greg Myrick, Scottie Watts, Van Long and Reggie Stewart.
