Ruth Edwards Veillon, 83, of Ellisville and originally from Richton, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, May 4, 1935 in Richton, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 11:00. Burial will follow at the Will Best Cemetery. Father Mike Thornton will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 477-3797
Ruth enjoyed ceramics and sewing and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Laurel, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Joseph Veillon; parents, Johnny Edwards and Edith Beech; sister, Pat Paulk; brothers, Reuben Edwards and Milton "Sibo" Edwards.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Walker (Kent), Richton, MS; sister, Mary Edwards, Richton, MS; brother, Ronnie Edwards, Richton, MS.
Pallbearers will be Kent Walker, Ronnie Edwards and Gerald Dykes.
