Ruth Ann Smith, 84 of Ellisville, MS passed away Thursday, February 03, 2022 at her residence in Ellisville, MS. She was born Sunday, January 16, 1938 in Enid, OK.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 07, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, MS. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 08, 2022 at 3:00 at Ellisville Funeral Home. The burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee, OK. Bro. Shane Freeman, and Bro. Scott Whitson will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

Ruth Ann spent her life as a missionary with the International Mission Board in Tanzania, Dubai, and Guyana. She was also a gifted musician and enjoyed spending time playing the piano. Ruth Ann was a devoted follower of Christ who dedicated her life to her Lord, her husband and her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Irene Posey.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Don Smith of Ellisville, MS; daughters, Rilda Smith of Shawnee, OK; Robin Jordan (Kelly) of Newton, MS and Roxie Porter (Frank) of Ellisville, MS;   grandson, John Porter of Ellisville, MS;  granddaughters, Camille Porter of Ellisville, MS;  Mackenzie Santos (Austin) of Roanoke, TX as well as one sister, Joyce Booze of Westminister, CO.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the International Mission Board Lottie Moon offering for international missions.
