Roy Eugene Young, 80, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, February 25, 1939 in Ellisville, Mississippi.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery and the Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bro. Kenny Morris will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 477-3797
Roy was a member First Assembly of Ellisville. He loved his guitar and music. He was a good hearted man and loved everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lena Mae Young, sister, Carlene Vincent.
Survivors include sisters, Barbara Minter, Carolyn Kirby, a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Justin Pitts, Jesse McDonald, Steven Stringfellow, Billy Ray McNeill.
