It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Ronnie E. Morgan of Ellisville, MS. Ronnie passed away on July 27th, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS, the same town and hospital where he was born.

Ronnie traveled the world, working in Canada, Australia, Africa, and the U.S., where he retired in 2003. He was highly intelligent and educated, graduating with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. He also worked on aircraft and was a pilot.

While in Africa, he met his wife, Vivian Kvalem, from Norway. Her home was a town 400 miles north of the Arctic Circle. She was an art teacher at the International School in Liberia, while Ronnie worked as an engineering consultant at an iron mine in 1979. They were married in Middletown, NJ, in 1980 and had three children: Sean Morgan, who resides in Boston, MA, who has a son, Max, born in 2014. Ronnie's other two other children Candice Morgan of Ellisville, MS, and Erik Morgan of Brownsville, VT, preceded him in death in 2019 and 2009, respectively.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, George Morgan and Lola Morgan of Ellisville, MS, and his two brothers, Robert Morgan of Brownsville, VT and, Elliott Morgan of Portland, OR.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Vivian Morgan, his eldest son Sean Morgan; his grandson, Max Morgan; and Ronnie's youngest brother, Mitchell Morgan of Ellisville.

Ronnie will be cremated and laid to rest at the family plot in Brownsville Cemetery in Brownsville, VT at a later date.
