Ronald Edward Walters Sr. of Laurel, MS passed away on September 15 2023. He was born July 1, 1947 in laurel, MS to William Wade Walters and Myrl Ates Walters.

Mr. Walters worked at many things in his life. He finished is career as a truck driver owning his own truck and driving for different carriers. He retired from Dunn roadbuilders in 2012.

A private service will be held at a later date.

He was preceded in death b his parents William Wade Walters and Myrl Ates Walters; his wife of 49 years Shirley Beasley Walters; his daughter Shannon Conner; sister Anita Judd; brothers William Walters Jr and Frederick E. Walters.

He is survived by his son, Ronald (Ed) Walters Jr, Granddaughter Kelli Blancett (Chris), Grandsons Andrew Walters (Krystal) and Justin Helms; Great Grandchildren Ryker Walters, Elizabeth Walters, Skylar Blancett, Bryce Blancett and Kinsley Blancett. Sisters Martha Langley (Billy) and Sherryl Hayes (Larry); Brother Dan Walters (Myrtle) and his Fur baby and best friend Peanut.
