Roderick E. Stockman, 66 of Ellisville, MS passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at his residence in Ellisville, MS. He was born Thursday, September 26, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 2:00PM at Jordan Cemetery in Ellisville, MS, with burial to follow.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mervin Stockman; mother, Evelyn Price Stockman.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Deborah Thomas Stockman; daughter, Vanessa Brown; grandchildren, Christopher Toombs, Austin Brown, Myles Ellzey and Roddy Braxton Mozingo; sister, Lisa Shackelford (Steve); 5- great-grandchildren.

To know Roddy was to know love, compassion, and true friendship. Roddy was kind hearted towards all people and animals alike. He knew and loved God openly without doubt or shame. There is no doubt he's with our true father God right now and he will be appreciated, loved, and missed greatly all the days of our lives.

Pallbearers will be Gevan Bush, Cody Hodge, Kaleb Bush, Christopher Toombs, Austin Brown, Myles Ellzey, and Roddy Braxton Mozingo.
