Robert Rex "Bobby" Breakfield, Jr., 73 of Ellisville, MS passed away surrounded by family and friends Friday, October 13, 2023, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born Wednesday, July 26, 1950, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 2:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Ellisville City Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. Bro. Hiram Eaves will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797.

Bobby attained his Master's degree from Mississippi State University in Agriculture Education. He served as an Agriculture teacher at South Jones High School for 38 years where he loved his students and cherished each and every one of them. He was an active member of Harmony Baptist Church in the Pendorff Community. To know Bobby was to love him, and he was loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret Willamson Breakfield.

Survivors include his sisters, Elizabeth "Liz" Wade (Frankie) and Marcia B. Holston; nephews, Benjamin Wade (Michelle) and Brandon Holston; nieces, Ashley Landry (Chris), Lorann Manns (Justin), Kayla Pitts (Dustin) and a host of great-nieces and nephews; fiance, Fawn Shoemake and friend, that was more like a brother, Rex Buckhaults.

Pallbearers will be Rod Tolbert, Keith Smith, Joe Robinson, Jody Buchanan, Jonathan Clark, and Richard Buckhaults.

Honorary pallbearers will be Denny Johnson, Moose Anderson, David Walters, Mike Tolbert, Don Turner, and Rex Buckhaults.
