Rex Cooley, 49, of Ovett, MS passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born Friday, April 13, 1973 in Laurel, MS.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home on 1204 B. Ave, Ellisville, MS. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM. Bro. Davey Fenton will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Cooley; his brother, Robert Dean Cooley and his father-in-law, Chuck Walters.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Stacey Walters Cooley; his son, Nathan Cooley; his father, Delaney Cooley; his brother, Darrell Loper, his mother-in-law, Becky Walters; his brother-in-law, Jeremy Walters as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
