Randall "Gooey" McDonald was born on February 5th, 1963, passed away at SCRMC on Thursday, August 6th.

Randall spent many years working in the oil and gas industry and made an impact on the people and communities he encountered throughout his life. He will be remembered by his family and friends, who will carry their own memories of him with them.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ray McDonald Sr.; his mother, Sybil McDonald; and his brother, Robert Ray McDonald Jr.

Randall is survived by his four children, Coty McDonald, Laken Brownlee, Jake McDonald (Anna), and Cane McDonald; his stepson, Michael Dennis (Heather); his siblings, Richard McDonald and Regina Walters; and his grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15th, at New Beginnings Church in Sandersville. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., with the service following at 12:20 p.m.

Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Randall’s life, share memories, and remember the moments that made him who he was.
