A memorial service will be held at a later date for Ralph Ray Rowell, Sr., 54, of Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away Friday, June 30, 2023. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Ralph was born June 30, 1969. He was a 1988 graduate of Beat Four High School and worked for 24 years as a millwright with Masonite. He served with the National Guard, had a particular affinity for gardening, and enjoyed tinkering with various projects, especially garden tractors. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, and he will be dearly missed. Most importantly, he came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ during his final days on Earth, and is dwelling now with his Heavenly Father.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Pam Rowell of Laurel; son, Ralph Rowell, Jr. (Danielle) of Heidelberg, Mississippi; step-son, Clint Landrum (Carrie) of Laurel; brother, Albert Rowell (Carolyn) of Laurel; grandchildren, Dawson Rowell, Gavin Rowell, Declan Rowell, Gage Landrum and Maysen Landrum; nephew, Cody Rowell; nieces, Megan Rowell and Erica Rowell; an honorary grandson, Jacob Hunter Holifield; and many other extended family members and friends.
