Peggy Janice Smith, 88 of Ellisville, MS passed away Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville, MS. She was born Sunday, February 2, 1936 in Moselle, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 9:30AM until 11:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 11:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Peggy was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellisville where she was a faithful member for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She loved to travel and spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith; parents Herbert Hilory Harrison, Lola Cleo Lindley Harrison son, Kent Smith; sister, Betty Ann Harrison; great grandchildren, Ava Harris and Brooklyn Smith.

Survivors include her son, David Smith (Martha); daughters, Donna D Zumwalt (Ronnie) and Deena Mixon (Ion); grandchildren, Allison Holloway, Aaron Zumwalt (Lindsey), Brittani Wemple (Bryan), Paige Alyahyawi (Youssef), Jill Simmons (Matt), Jarrod Smith (Katy), Micah Mixon, Morgan Mixon, Miriam Mixon, Jaclyn Baylis (Chuck) and Sarah McInnis; brothers, Hilory Harrison (Kathleen) and Donald Harrison; daughter-in-law, Julie Smith. 17 Great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Zumwalt, Jarrod Smith, Micah Mixon, Morgan Mixon, Wes Moore, and Michael Bradshaw.
