Pearl Rushton Maskew, 89 of Ellisville, MS passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. She was born Friday, October 5, 1934 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 12:00PM at Welch Graham Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Burial will follow in Welch Graham Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Bro. Kevin Williamson will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797.

Pearl was a member of Lowery Creek Baptist Church. She retired from Jones County Junior College in 1998.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Maskew; father, Roy Rushton; mother, Rachel Plowman Rushton; brother, Durward Rushton; sisters, Barbara Gandy and Sue Smith.

Survivors include her son, Phil Maskew (Bridget); daughter, Jan Welborn (Hershell); grandchildren, Emily Powell (Jamie), Erica Welch (Whitney) and Laken Maskew; great grandchildren, Brandon Kilpatrick, Mary Hannah Kilpatrick, Brenley Welch, Sawyer Powell, Brayden Powell and Ben Powell and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Whitney Welch, Jamie Powell, Chris Gandy, Steve Maskew, Brandon Kilpatrick, and Scott Dodd.
