Pamela Lea Stroo, aged 65, of Ellisville, MS, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. Born on November 4, 1958, in Laurel, Mississippi, Pamela was a beloved member of her community.

She is survived by her son, T. J. Stroo and his wife LaSha; her father, Tommy Taylor; her mother, Bobbie Atkins Taylor; her brother, Eric Taylor and his wife Maureen; her sister, Deidre Hoover and her husband Tony; her nephews, Patrick Taylor and Jacob Taylor; her niece, Jessica Taylor; and her aunt, Frances Blue. Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Garland Stroo.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 11:00AM at the same location, with Bro. Melvin Meggs officiating. Burial will follow in County Line Cemetery in Ovett, MS.

Pallbearers will include Matthew Allen, Colby Hall, Nate Cook, Brody Elkins, Shane Poole, and Jacob Taylor, with honorary pallbearers being Patrick Taylor and the Men of New Hope Baptist Church.
