Nora Gean Carney, 68, of Ellisville, MS, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Saturday, June 23, 1956, in La Vernia, Texas.

Graveside service will be held September 26, 2024, at 10:00AM at Memorial Gardens in Laurel, MS. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi. Bro. Luke Jefcoat will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy "BO" Martin Carney; Parents Marion Cleveland Eldridge and Laura Elizabeth West Eldridge; sister, Mary Jefcoat (Danny).

Survivors include her son, Scooter Cleveland Carney (Danielle); daughters, Carrie Aguirre (Jose), Gena Deann Butler and Nancy Denise Boykin (James); grandchildren, Kelsey Ainsworth, Elizabeth Anderson, James Ainsworth (Morgan), Jessica Anderson, Cheyanne Ainsworth, Miranda Brewer (Brian), Matthew Carney, Amanda Boykin, Jacob Aguirre (Kaitlyn), Mackynzie Carney, Maylee Carney, Joseph Aguirre, Elena Aguirre, Ethan Carney, Alexis Holifield, Tristan Holifield and Johnathon Williams; sisters, Beverly Maxey and Debbie Pitts (James Ray); 19 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marcelo Aguirre, Michael Gray, Seth Ishee, James Ray Pitts, Abner Mercado and Mario Mendoza.
