Nevaeh Skye West, age 4, of Laurel, MS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 24, 2021, in Laurel, MS.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Tiffany Rhymes; grandfather, Charels Lovett; grandmother, Sue Lovett and lots of other aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her loving family, including her parents, Melissa West and Christopher English; brothers, Cameron West, Isiah West, Gabe Stringer, Aaron Rhymes, Timothy Rhymes; grandmother, Kathy McDonald; loving caring aunt, Gina Weber and a host of other aunts, uncles, grandfather, Billy Baldridge.

Pallbearers will be Chris English, Kennon Davis, Andrew Davis and Jason Lovett.

A beautiful baby girl who was always smiling, who loved her mommy, lived her life doing the things she loved.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at First Antioch United Pentecostal Church 89 Antioch Drive, Laurel, Mississippi, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 AM at the Myrick Cemetery. Bro. Josh Pierce will officiate. Arrangements are under the care of Ellisville Funeral Home.

Heavenly Home

Our darling has gone to the angels above, where there’s nothing but happiness, joy and love. Gone from this world, so full of strife; back to the God that gave her life but rejoice that God chose our sweet flower for his own; and has taken her back to his heavenly home. We will never forget you and we will always love you.
