Milton Eugene 'Gene' Mosley, 85, of Ovett, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Lake View Nursing Center in Gulfport, Mississippi. Born on July 15, 1939, in Stonewall, Mississippi, Milton lived a full life surrounded by family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jane L. Landrum Mosley, and his sons, Michael Lance Mosley, Franklin Eugene Mosley, and John Milton Mosley, along with John's wife, Jill. Milton's, also survives him, as do his grandchildren: Heather Wigington of Biloxi, Mississippi, Heather Amanda Davis and her husband Cody, Michael Blake Mosley and his wife Allison, Dylan Mcinnis, and Katie Mcinnis. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Jonathan Blake Mosley, Lacey Annalise Mosley, Riley Lynn Mosley, Noah Gavin Wigington, Hayden Gage Wigington, wife Devon, Jordan Alexis Frantantoni and her husband Phil.

Milton was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Franklin Mosley, mother, Elma Ruth Stallings Mosley; his grandchild Cory Mcinnis, his brother Billy Joe Mosley, his sisters Darlene Carter and Ann Williamson, and his step-children Bruce Dexter Mcinnis, Charles Phillip Mcinnis, and Jason Jerome Mcinnis.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same location, with burial to follow at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Ovett, Mississippi.
