Michael Grady Mapp, 75 of Ellisville, MS passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his residence in Ellisville, MS. He was born Saturday, September 4, 1948 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 2:00PM at Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Dr. Rev. Daniel Hathorne will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797.

Mike was a retired Electrician. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Chapter 161. He was a sweet and loving husband and father and member of Laurel First Methodist Church. He enjoyed his antique cars and collecting various antiques. He was always looking for treasure in others trash.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Isaac `Zac` Mapp; father, Jessie Rumble Mapp; mother, Naomi Cheek Mapp; brother, David Mapp.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia Blackwell Mapp, son, Jesse Mapp (Amanda); sister, Linda Jane O`Keefe (Timothy); grandson, Bowie Mapp; nephew, Richard Mapp (Sandra); nieces, Beverly Mapp Hammond, sister-in-law, Anna F. Moss (George), brother-in-law, George Buchanan (Gloria) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
