Mellie Sandra Chandler, 72 of Ellisville, MS passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at her residence in Ellisville, MS. She was born Sunday, August 26, 1951, in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 12:30PM until 2:30PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 2:30PM at Ellisville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Chandler; father, Howard L "Boney" Cooley; mother, Erma Lucille Webb Cooley; sister, Sherry Thrash, and her companion, Thomas White.

Survivors include her sons, Howard Chandler (Kelly), Bill Chandler (Joanna), Allen Chandler (Sherry) and Ernest Chandler (Teresa); daughter, Nina Wilson (Charles); siblings, Shirley Parrish, Jimmy Cooley (Cindy), Emma Trumbach, and Douglas Thrash; grandchildren, Tyler Chandler, Hunter Chandler, Jackson Chandler, Taylor Saul, Noah Chandler, Walker Chandler and A Host of Great Grandkids.

Pallbearers will be Trint Cooley, Jody Cooley, Eddie Parrish, Tyler Chandler, Hunter Chandler, and Jackson Chandler.
