Matha Lee Pool, 99, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born on February 6, 1927, in Jones County, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald W. Pool; parents, Walter and Bessie Beech; sons, David Anthony Pool, Jerry Lee Pool; siblings, Mavis Ruple, Walter L. Beech II, Curtis Beech, Nathan Beech, Aulton Beech, Edward Beech, Delton Beech.

She is survived by her loving family, including her sons, Curtis Beech, Byron Pool (Mary), Kenny Pool; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Katie Triplet, Louise Flowers, Larry Beech.

Pallbearers will be Tony Pool, Jared Pool, Joseph Pool, Cody Pool, Byron Pool, and Andre Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Musgrove and Eddie Robertson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 9:30Am to 11:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery. Brother Harold Rowzee will officiate. Arrangements are under the care of Ellisville Funeral Home of Ellisville, MS.
