Mary Clark LePori

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mary Clark LePori, age 91 of Seymour, TN.

Born in Seminary, MS, Mary was the daughter of Mamie Clark. She attended Shady Grove High School where she began playing basketball. Mary continued with the sport while earning her Associate Degree at Jones County Junior College.

While living in Soso, she was an ongoing example to the children and adult women she taught at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Mary was an extremely high achiever and mentor within the Tupperware brand.

Her favorite pastime included baking cookies with her grandkids, showing hospitality to her friends while growing and arranging flowers for her home, friends and church.

Loving known as “Bimom” by her family, she is survived by her children, Monica Jones (Dave) of Seymour, TN and Jeffery LePori (Catherine) of Hattiesburg MS; grandchildren, Chad Long (Brooke), Heath Long and Brent Long, great grandchildren, McCall Long (the youngest) and Colin Long (Megan) and her great great grandson Colter Long.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas LePori, her mom and nine siblings.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 11 at 2:00 PM. A celebration of Mary’s life will follow at 3:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, 1204 Avenue B, Ellisville, MS.
