Marvin Claude Smith, 75, of Ellisville, MS, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Care Center of Laurel in Laurel, MS. He was born Tuesday, August 22, 1950, in Laurel, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlon Otis Smith and Iva Lee Thompson Smith brothers, Gary Otis Smith, Robert Wayne Smith, sister, Doris Nell McMillian, and sister-in-law Cathy Smith.

Survivors include his brothers, Larry Smith (Virginia), Laurel, MS, Leon Smith, Seminary, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews and others family members.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, MS. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Ellisville Funeral Home with burial to follow in County Line Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro.
