Marsha Lanell Rivers, 67, of Ellisville, MS, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, April 20, 2025. Born on July 7, 1957, in Jones County, Mississippi, Marsha was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Robert Rivers; her sons, Robert Christopher Rivers and his wife Sheree, and Jacob Reese Rivers; and her cherished grandchildren, Emily Joanna Rivers, William Aiden Rivers, Zachary Reese Rivers, and Haley Serena Rivers. Marsha is also survived by her brother, Ray Welch and his wife Pam.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Derwood Welch and Lanell Easterling Welch, and her brother, Tommy Welch.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same location, with Bro. Glenn Shoemake officiating. Following the service, Marsha will be laid to rest at Oak Bowery Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will include Donald Ray Welch, Robert Christopher Rivers, Jacob Reese Rivers, Zachary Reese Rivers, William Aiden Rivers, and Grayson Welch.
