Louise Jackson Welch, age 71, of Soso, MS, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. Born on Saturday, May 9, 1953, in Laurel, Mississippi, Louise was a beloved member of her community.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Winston Welch; her father, William Robert Jackson; her mother, Levi Jewel Rayner Jackson; her brothers, Robert Buford Jackson and Bill Jackson; and her sisters, Rachel Lyons and Annie Jewel Lyons.

Louise is survived by her sons, Robert Dustin Welch and Danon Shane Welch (Karen); her daughter, Sheri Hilbun (Randy); her grandchildren, Keith Matthew Hilbun and Cody Randall Hilbun (Jamie); her brother, Leroy Jackson (Jane); her sister, Dale Watson; and her great-grandchild, Olivia Mae Hilbun.
