Louise "Little Sis" Sharp, 78, of Laurel, MS passed from her earthly body and entered the Golden Gates of Heaven on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her residence.  She was born to Curtis and Grace Griffith on August 8, 1945 in Isney, Alabama.

Mrs. Sharp was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved her family and she loved her Lord and Savior.  Mrs. Sharp was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sharon.  She enjoyed serving her church and the work that the Lord chose for her.  She retired from Alfa Insurance in Laurel.

Mrs. Sharp is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Grace Griffith of Laurel, MS; her siblings, Clara Mae Nix (A. C.) and Buck Griffith both of Laurel, MS; brother-in-law, Billy Weems, Robert Sharp, Donavan Sharp of Laurel, MS; sister-in-laws Mary White (Marvin) and Marie Allen of Laurel, MS; nephew Chuckie "Brother" Griffith of Laurel, MS; and great niece, Anna Christine Manning of Laurel, MS.

Mrs. Sharp was survived by her husband of 62 years, Dwight Sharp; her children, Jerry Sharp (April) of Ellisville, MS and James Sharp (Melinda) of Tanner, AL; her grandchildren, Seth Sharp of Ellisville, MS; Jordan Atkins (D. J.) and Jenna Winsted (Hunter) of Spruce Pine, AL; and great-grandchild Kash Atkins. She is also survived by her siblings, Peggy Weems of Ellisville, MS; Inell Cheatwood (W. C.) of Carthage, MS; her twin, Louis "Little Bud" Griffith (Ann) of Laurel, MS; and sisters-in-law, Daisy Griffith and Patsy Ruth Sharp of Laurel, MS.  She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

The pall bearers include Mark Griffith, Mark Allen, Glenn Sharp, Jonathan Strickler, Kelvin Smith, Larry Aust, Chuck Adams and Dale Sharp.

Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Sharon, 4375 Sharon Road, Laurel, MS 39443. Services will be Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Sharon with burial at Sharon Cemetery.  Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of her services.
