Louise S. Holifield, 87, passed away peacefully at her residence in Ellisville, MS on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Born on October 2, 1938, in Laurel, Mississippi, Louise lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and community.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reginald H. Holifield, SR, her father L.T. Stewart, her mother Ethel Beasley Flood, and her sister Winona Bartlet. Louise is survived by her son, Reginald H. Holifield, Jr., her daughter Stephanie A. Holifield, and her sisters Pat Busby and Anetta Richardson. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who cherished her dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Ellisville, Mississippi, with visitation starting at 10:30 AM followed by the service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Roy Crouch will officiate the services, and special music will be performed by Elizabeth Wood. Pallbearers will include George Blackwell, Joe Massey, Kevin Lucas, David Chancellor, Brennon Chancellor, and R.L. Busby.
