Lindsey Ray Sanderson, 90, of Ellisville, MS passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at his home with his two daughters by his side.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Sandhill Baptist Church on 69 Sandhill Church Rd. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. The burial will take place at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Micah Husser will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797

He was preceded in death by his parents T.R. Sanderson Sr. and Elizabeth Leggett Sanderson; wife, Elizabeth Mae Sanderson; brothers, T.R. Sanderson Jr., Al Sanderson, Jimmy Sanderson; grandson, Bart Cameron.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathy Cameron (Rodney) and Diane Gunn (Lynn); grandchildren, Valarie Pittman (Joe), Zachary Cameron (Felicia), Seth Cameron (Mindy), Jake Cameron (Tammron), Lindsey Holifield (Justin), Bethany Peterson (Tom); great grandchildren, Evan, Ember, Rocket, Maddie Joe, Sawyer, Nicole, Cody, Hayley, Waylon, Jason, Colton and Leni.

Ray retired from Masonite and was a Master Mason in the Ellisville Lodge for over 62 years. He was an active member of Sandhill Baptist Church. He loved to study the bible, especially bible history. His strong faith was an example to all the family. He also loved the outdoors and was ready to go fishing at the drop of a hat. He was truly the best Dad in the world.

Pallbearers are Zach Cameron, Seth Cameron, Jake Cameron, Justin Holifield, Tom Peterson and Steve Eason.
