Lee Howard Johnston, 73, of Taylorsville, MS, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, September 15, 2025. Born on April 27, 1952, in Collins, Mississippi, Lee was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Carol Harrington Johnston, and his children, Anthony Johnston, Amber Woods (Matthew), and Autumn Huffman. Lee was a cherished brother to James Brady, Ada Faye Westbrook (Dale), and Betty Jo Sharp. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, LeAnne Breland, Addison Huffman, Allyson Huffman, Megan Woods, Andruw Woods, Jacie Haley, Jadin Hilbun, and Calie Hilbun, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Johnston, Sr. and Vada Hinton Johnston, and his siblings, Ellis Johnston, Jr., Buddy Johnston, Tommy Johnston, and Mary Joyce Clark.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Old Antioch Baptist Church in Taylorsville, MS, followed by a Memorial service at 11:00 AM. Arrangements handled by Ellisville Funeral Home.
