Larry Sumrall, DDS

Larry Sumrall, age 86, passed away at home on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Larry was predeceased by his parents Robert & Ruby Sumrall, brothers Johnny & Bobby Sumrall, sisters Jean Blackwell & Margie Ann Sumrall.

He is survived by his wife Diane, siblings Mike Sumrall & Janet Mason, children Shannon, Derick (Jennifer), Ashleigh (Jason), Larry (Andrea), & Erick (Carrie), 7 grandchildren, & 4 great grandchildren.

In Larry's earlier professional career, he was a graduate of The School of Medical Technology at The Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg, MS. He was honored to have worked alongside Dr. Jim Gorman for 2 years at The Mississippi State Sanatorium for Tuberculosis in Magee, MS.

Larry later went to Loyola University in New Orleans, LA, graduating in 1970, with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He dedicated the next 49 years to his true passion: caring for his patients in Family Dentistry.

Larry was a wonderful man, admired by all who knew him, and above all deeply loved by his friends & family.
