Kyle Hurshel Hathorn, 56, of Ellisville, Mississippi, died Thursday November 14, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, August 4, 1963 in Laurel, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home with Burial to follow in Sharon Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Dr. Dwight Smith will officiate. Kyle followed in his father's footsteps of becoming a teacher and coach at South Jones and was one of the most loved teachers at South Jones High School. He coached and taught for almost 20 years and has mentored many young people through the years. Kyle was wonderful son, brother, husband and father. He will be greatly missed. Once a Brave always a Brave.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hurshel Hathorn.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Geri Hathorn; son, Samuel Hathorn; mother, Iris Hilton (Jack); brother, Kyn Hathorn (Nohora) (Brother).

Pallbearers will be Howard Patrick, Zach Nobles, Billy Ray Jones, David Welch, Davy Lyons, and Richard Wilson.
