Kimberly Gay Evans, 49, of Ellisville, MS, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. Born on November 25, 1976, in Laurel, Mississippi, Kimberly was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother,  sister and friend. Kim was a 5th grade Math teacher at East Jones Elementary School. She loved her students as if they were her own. She loved being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Nataley Hope Gordon (Blake) and Madelyn Grace Evans; her father, Benton Pitts; her mother, Martha Gay Shoemake Pitts; her brother, Michael Pitts (Gwen); and her grandson, Stetson Gordon. Kimberly also leaves behind her nephew, Austin Walters, and nieces, Kayla Beavers (Gage), Kaycee North (Dylan), Elizabeth Pitts, Lexi Walters, and Emily Walters. Her sister-in-law, Marlana Walters (Chad), and chosen sisters, Michelle Bush, Lee Ann Morgan-Box, and Leah Piper, will also cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Centerville Baptist Church in Soso, MS, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Centerville Baptist Church. Burial will take place at County Line Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Bro. Brian Dickens will officiate the services, with arrangements handled by Ellisville Funeral Home.

Kimberly will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
