Kelly Casimir Schmidt, 66, of Chalmette, LA, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, LA. Born on November 11, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Kelly was a beloved husband and uncle.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Jackie Hanna Schmidt, and his nephew, Gary Schmidt, Jr. Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Schmidt, his mother, Dorothy Shannon Schmidt, and his brother, Gary Schmidt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM at Sandhill Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, MS, where he will be laid to rest.

Pallbearers honoring Kelly's memory will include Robert Hanna, Thomas Allen, Allen Walsh, Orbie Wright Jr., Lee Morales, and Paul Holden.
