Kathy I Pearson, 72 of Ovett, MS passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born Thursday, June 19, 1952, in Jones County, Mississippi.

A memorial service for the immediate family will be held at a later date. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-477-3797.

Kathy spent many years working in the health care system serving and caring for others until her retirement from South Central Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed nurturing and caring for her many plants in and around her home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie R Ingram; mother, Katie R Ryals Ingram; and her sister, Frances Dykes (Ricky).

Survivors include her two children son, John M Pearson (Mandy) of Ovett, MS and daughter Nancy Guthrie (J.D.) of Picayune, MS; four grandchildren Chelsea Jumonville (Todd) of Jeanerette, LA, Hadley, Harper, and Henry Pearson; and three great grandchildren Dawson, Rayden, and Kelton Evans; her sisters Sue Volking (Joey), Judy Stewart (Robert), and Vicky Reeves; and her brother Robert Ingram (Alyce).
