Kathryn K. Mapp, of Ellisville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at her residence. She was born on May 2, 1939, in Jones County, Mississippi, Kathryn lived a long and fulfilling life.

She is preceded in death by her husband David Mapp, parents, Roland and Alma Sellers.

She is survived by her daughters; Beverly Hammond and Sandy Smith son; Richard Mapp (Sandra), grandchildren; Erica Smith and Heather Smith.

Graveside will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 3:00PM at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ellisville, MS. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
