Josephine T. Smith, 73 of Ellisville, MS passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She was born Sunday, May 6, 1951, in Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home in 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:00AM at Ellisville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi. Bro. She was preceded in death by her husband, John O. Smith; mother, Louvie Peterson Peterson; Betty McInerney.

Survivors include her sons, Johnny (Ami) Smith and Mark (Sabrina) Smith; daughters, Michelle (Allison) Thomas and Lisa (James) Brewer; grandchildren, Wesley (Tiffany) Thomas, Toni (Matt) Busby, Colby (Heather) Smith, Jada (Kel) Hinton, Brody Smith, Katie (Josh) Smith T.J. (Gabby) Brewer, Tyler Havard, Jacob Brewer, and Ragen Smith; a host of great grandchildren (16 total); Brother, Jimmy (Helen) Knight; Sister, Bernie Williams.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Thomas, Colby Smith, T.J. Brewer, Tyler Havard, Jacob Brewer, Hunter Bryce Mckenzie, Camryn Thomas, and Aiden Smith.
