Jo Lynn Upton's Obituary
Jo Lynn Upton, 79, of Columbia, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at The Myrtles in Columbia, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, July 12, 1941 in Laurel, Mississippi.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Hickory Grove Cemetery with burial to follow. Bro. Lloyd Thompson will officiate. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 477-3797
Jo Lynn Upton was a sweet Christian lady of the Methodist faith. She loved music and would often be heard singing "Amazing Grace" in the nursing home. She enjoyed playing cards and eating fish on Friday nights. Bro. Warren and Margaret Jo Selman loved taking her to her favorite vacation spot which was the Smokey Mountains. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Myrtle Upton.
Survivors include her friends, Jo Beth and Louis Crout Jr, Warren Selman Jr. and Cathy Selman.
