Jewel Rose Fountain, 94, of Ellisville, MS, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the Greene City Health & Rehab in Leakesville, MS. Born on October 5, 1930, in Ovett, Mississippi, Jewel lived a long and fulfilling life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Isaiah Edwards, her mother, Bessie Crocker Edwards, and her 3 siblings.

Jewel is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Miles Velton Fountain.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Ellisville Funeral Home, located at 1204 B Ave, Ellisville, Mississippi. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM at Ellisville City Cemetery in Ellisville, Mississippi, with burial to follow. Pastor Lucas Caina will officiate the services.
