Jetta L. Kyzar, aged 66, of Laurel, MS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at her residence. Born on February 10, 1958, in Meridian, Mississippi, Jetta was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years, John E. Kyzar, and her loving children: sons William Freeman, Jr., Joseph Freeman and his wife Jenna, and Jody Kyzar and his wife Angela; daughters Lynn Susano and her husband Ricardo, Genny Bigbie and her husband Michael, and Jennifer Pearce and her husband Clint. Jetta was a cherished grandmother to Jonathan Mathis and his wife Regina, Jetta Yanez and her husband Santiago, MJ Bigbie, Daniel Bigbie, River Bigbie, Sophie Freeman, Asher Freeman, Ella Claire Pearce, Mary Catherine Pearce, Wesley Pearce, and Zac Kyzar. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Elliana Yanez, Brianna Bannister, Rayden Key, and Kaida Key, as well as her sister Dannette Crappel.

Jetta was preceded in death by her son, James Freeman; her parents, James Melvin Puckett and Imogene Gunn; her grandchild, Kyle Dunkerson; her brother, James Puckett, Jr.; and her sisters, Melva Close and Wendy Slayton.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, with arrangements entrusted to Ellisville Funeral Home. Jetta's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
