Jerry "Pete" Rose, 77, of Ellisville, Mississippi, died Friday November 30, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, September 2, 1941 in Jones County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Pecan Grove in Ellisville, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Pecan Grove and the Burial will follow in Walters Cemetery. Bro. Dave Moran, Bro. John Cockrell and Bro. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Rose; mother, Naomi Rose; brother, Freddie Rose, brother in-law, Billy McCraney.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years Judy Rose; son, Calvin Rose (Stephanie); daughter, Teresa McNeill (Jason); son, Jared Rose (Kelsey); grandchildren, Caden Loper, Kaitlyn Clairmont (Kele), Carter Rose, Aubree Rose and, Grayson Rose; brother, Grady Rose (Gerry); sister, Merle McCraney.

Pallbearers will be Justin Shows, Scott Weems, Michael Shows, Josh Brooks, Jason Soules and, Jeff Barnett
Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Kirkland and, Bo McCraney
